Strata-G is excited to announce our Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Program Certification approved for nine (9) years through the Year 2029.

The SBA 8(a) Program is named for Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and is designed to assist Small Disadvantaged Businesses, including firms owned by Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) such as Strata-G, to grow and compete in the federal marketplace. It is also designed to assist 8(a) companies like Strata-G in gaining access to new federal and private procurement markets and new geographic locations. Through the award of sole-source and set-aside contracts, the 8(a) program provides market access and rapid growth opportunities.
“Being certified for the SBA 8(a) Program offers many unique advantages to entity-owned ANCs such as Strata-G. In addition to 8(a) competitive set-asides, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 authorizes entity-owned ANC SBA 8(a) companies to receive Sole Source contracts up to $100 Million, with no Justification and Approval (J&A) and no protests. This new law allows contracting agencies and requiring elements greater flexibility and substantiates the federal government’s commitment to SDB entity owned SBA 8(a) companies such as Strata-G”, said Devin Whitaker, President Strata-G Solutions.
