Dr. Wayne Hudry

Director of Programs

Background

Dr. Wayne Hudry serves as the Director of Programs for Strata-G Solutions. Dr. Hudry’s professional career experience spanned service as a military officer, private industry, and as a Government civilian. As the Director of Programs, he has overall responsibility for the company’s multifaceted engineering and manufacturing programs as well as a team of talented and capable Program Managers.

Prior to joining Strata-G, he served as the Deputy Project Director, Multi-National Aviation Special Project Office within the Army’s PEO Aviation. He oversaw aviation foreign military sales (FMS) interactions with over 28 international countries. Concurrently, he served as the Functional Lead for all PEO Aviation Program Managers.

His experience includes Chief of Acquisition & Systems Engineering within the Army Materiel Command’s Chief Technology Office. There, he was involved with AMC’s implementation of science and technology, acquisition integration, and systems engineering. He was the Army representative for DoD’s Engineer certification requirements for over 9,000 Army Acquisition Engineers and as the AMC Command Career Program Manager for over 12,000 Engineers and Scientists in the Army’s Engineer Career Program

Previously, within the Apache Sensors Product Management Office, he was involved with the development, testing, fielding, budgeting, and support of the Apache Modernized Target Acquisition Designation System/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (MTADS/PNVS), Manned Unmanned Teaming 2 (MUMT-2) system, Fire Control Radar (FCR), Radio Frequency Interferometer (RFI), Dayside Sensor Assembly (M-DSA), RFI, and Electronic Image Intensification (EI2) camera.

While in private industry, he was the Project Leader for the acquisition of foreign munitions. He was involved with high fidelity physics-based software models and simulations including parametric analysis of radar susceptibilities, engagement scenarios, and force on force conflicts. Finally, he served within the National Missile Defense Test and Evaluation group involved with the design, development, testing, and acquisition of a missile defense capability.

During his Army military career, he was a Military Intelligence Officer in CONUS, Germany, and other worldwide locations. Specializing in cryptology, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, and human intelligence he progressively led units as well as remotely sited organizations in hostile fire zones. He has specific experience with foreign technological capabilities in directed energy weapons including lasers, radio frequency weapons, electro-optics, particle beam weapons and pulsed power.

Dr. Hudry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Point, a Masters degree in Business, a second Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He and his wife Twila have two children.
